Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: The Program Coordinator is responsible for direct support for the Dallas County program and Program Director.

  • Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, and the client intake/referral process for services.
  • This position oversees the Advocacy Services as it relates to the client case management and providing community outreach and support.
  • The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit.

Position works up to 20 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $20 per hour.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with commensurate experience in community-based agency programs except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree.
  • At minimum, at least one-year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience in the provision of home and community-based services is a plus.
  • Willing a consider non-degreed applicant with 2-5 years of experience.
  • Basic computer skills required; Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • Experience in the provision of home and community-based services.
  • Bilingual/Spanish Speaking is strongly preferred!
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
