- Serves as a key participant with senior leadership and faculty in the implementation of the medical school curriculum.
- In collaboration with Course Directors/Leadership and Associate Director create and monitor course calendar, and timelines for Learning Management System (LMS) and Canvas.
- Responsible for coordinating all medical student-related activities that include, but are not limited to lectures, presentations, and interest group meetings for assigned course(s).
- Scheduling of rooms appropriate for planned educational activities (e.g., lecture halls, small group rooms, labs, etc.) as requested by faculty.
- As requested generate reports outlining curriculum implementation, examination results (aggregate and individual), and student/faculty evaluation results.
- Responsible for obtaining final semester grades and enter them onto Banner by established deadlines. Employee will be expected to follow FERPA and HIPAA standards of confidentiality.
- Participate in exam proctoring as a regular member of the 'proctor pool' as assigned.
- Validate and/ or create Pre- Clerkship courses during roll-over period within Banner system for upcoming school year.
- Monitor attendance, Canvas assignments, Remediation assignments, assure E-Portfolio professionalism statements are uploaded accordingly from the Texas Tech Assessment System (TTAS) along with professionalism Event Cards.
- Work with the Information Technology (IT) Academics team towards developing new student performance tracking data for assigned course(s).
- Serve as back-up for front desk as needed.
- Remains current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).
- Personally, and consistently, demonstrate, display and act in accordance with Texas Tech Health El Paso's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value''s leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution.
