Program Coordinator - HIV Administration

Under the direction of the HIV Care Continuum Manager, the Youth Program Coordinator supports specialized HIV care and care coordination services for young adults and women, with a particular focus on addressing the unique needs and barriers experienced by these populations. The position provides individualized support to youth and young adults, including patients transferring from pediatric to adult HIV care, and helps strengthen engagement through health education, self-advocacy, medication adherence, appointment readiness, and connection to supportive resources. The Youth Program Coordinator also supports programming and outreach focused on women living with HIV, including efforts to improve engagement in care, retention, viral suppression, and access to services that address social and structural barriers to health. Through patient-centered care coordination, outreach, education, and collaboration with clinical and community partners, the position helps ensure that youth and women receive coordinated, culturally responsive support throughout their HIV care experience. Hourly Pay Range: $28.08 - $41.42 Qualifications: Education: Requires a Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Public Administration, Business Management or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work. Experience: Must have at least three to five (3-5) years of experience specific to administration or grant management. Knowledge, Skills Abilities: Must have knowledge of grant application process and writing applications. Prefer knowledge of the Ryan White Part D grant and of health care issues and delivery systems. Must be organized, have strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills and analytical skills. Must be able to multi-task and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines for grant activities. Must have proficient computer skills in software for word processing and financial spreadsheets. Must have ability to take initiatives and utilize innovative techniques and ingenuity in preparing grant applications. Must be able to participate as a team player to coordinate grant projects. Requires ability to interpret and apply laws, rules and gather, analyze and evaluate a variety of data. Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
