Description:
Reporting to the Director, Healthcare Administration, working closely with the Department's Business
Manager, Division Administrator, and Clinical Administrator, the Program Coordinator Lead will coordinate operational
initiatives and departmental priorities, ensuring departmental alignment with organizational goals and timelines. The ideal
candidate will be capable of functioning independently to apply judgment in decisions relating to day-to-day operations
while maintaining departmental and divisional strategic goals.

Coordinate Operational Initiatives: Supports the objectives and goals of the OB/GYN department by functioning as a
program coordinator lead. Align workflow activities and strategic projects with divisional, departmental and
organizational objectives.
Development and Execution of Communication Initiatives: Oversee operational communication activities, presentations,
newsletters, run department meetings, and coordinate departmental updates.
Project Coordination: Manage departmental projects, operational deliverables, timelines, and follow-ups to ensure
accountability and efficiency.
Visibility and Engagement Support: Design and disseminate periodic newsletters and social media content to faculty, staff,
GME alumni, resident physicians, and key stakeholders to keep them informed regarding departmental activities.
Enhance departmental visibility through website coordination, communication planning, content organization, and
collaboration with UF communications and marketing teams.
Strategic Planning Sessions: Ensure senior department secretaries of the divisions within the department arrange,
take minutes, and document action items at scheduled planning sessions, working with administrative leadership to
prepare specific timelines and records for department meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Report Development: Work with department administrative and clinical leadership to develop and maintain division and
departmental operation reports, engagement metrics, and prepare KPI tracking tools.
Workflow Improvement: Collaborate with the Clinical Administrator, Business Manager, and Operations Manager to ensure effective workflows, ensuring optimum use of available resources to meet department goals.
Resource Development: Assist in creating division-specific materials, patient handouts, rack cards, and operational
resources in accordance with University and ACGME standards.
Research Support: Assist resident physicians along with faculty and staff on the development of research projects and
the preparation of potential publication materials for white papers or peer reviewed journals

Previous experience in business administration or a related field is preferred.
Understanding of social media, marketing tools, and AI tools is preferred
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field; or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. - required
Master's Degree preferred.
