Job Description
In this role, the Research Program Coordinator will assist with the planning and implementation of the Research Education & Training programs and will work closely with the Director to coordinate and oversee programs including, but not limited to clinical, education, and community outreach.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Compose and edit the quarterly Women's Heart Center Newsletter
- Plan and support the annual symposium and community outreach events for the Women's Heart Center.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry sponsors to secure funding for the symposium.
- Support and assist with the planning of Grand Rounds and all other educational symposiums.
Program Planning:
- Plan and execute WHC events at the discretion of the Program Director and Program Manager
- Implements programs changes to ensure continuity of care as patient or physician needs change
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required (preferably a science-based major), Master's preferred
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Prior program coordinator or assistant experience highly preferred. 2-3 years of experience, or educational equivalent, working as part of an interdisciplinary team. Prior experience in cardiology, healthcare and/or program operations highly preferred.
