The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Department of Surgical Oncology, a fast-paced academic environment that integrates patient care, research, and education. The Program Coordinator serves as a key administrative partner to faculty and clinical teams, coordinating complex projects, educational activities, publications, research support functions, and departmental operations. The Program Coordinator is expected to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a collaborative and established department known for strong teamwork and long-tenured staff.

The ideal candidate is an experienced administrative professional who can independently manage complex, multifaceted projects while supporting multiple high-producing faculty members. Preferred experience includes educational conference management, publications management, and grant or research-related support. Education, work experience, and licenses/certifications are not specified; candidates should demonstrate the ability to coordinate high-level administrative, educational, and research activities in a demanding academic healthcare setting.
Salary Range: Minimum 53,000 - Midpoint $66,000 - Maximum $79,000
The typical work schedule is: • On-Campus: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm • Remote: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Hybrid Schedule: • On-Campus: Two Days A Week (Will be assigned) • Remote: Three Days a Week

WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: 3 years Related experience, including program/project coordination experience. or 1 year Required experience with Master's degree.. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.
