Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group, partnered with a renowned government transportation contractor, is in search of a versatile and dedicated Project Coordinator to lead community-focused initiatives from the planning stages through final execution. This role is essential for maintaining transparent communication with external stakeholders while ensuring that all program data is tracked with precision and integrity. The ideal candidate thrives in a self-directed environment and has a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines within the public sphere.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategy, organization, and rollout of multiple high-visibility community initiatives.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and service when interacting with external partners and the public.
  • Manage consistent follow-through and alignment across various stakeholder groups.
  • Oversee information logging and performance reporting, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Utilize modern office productivity software to manage workflows and documentation.
  • Apply proactive problem-solving to navigate changing project requirements and obstacles.
  • Operate independently to ensure all project milestones are reached within established timelines.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • At least 3 years of background overseeing diverse public-sector programs from conception to completion.
  • Prior experience involving fiscal oversight or financial operations within a governmental or public agency setting is a plus.
  • Professional certification in project management (such as a PMP) is highly desirable.
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Proven ability to deliver clear and effective communication, both in writing and in person.
  • Demonstrated capacity for self-directed work while collaborating effectively with a broader team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex datasets and reporting requirements.

Pay Range: Hourly $55.00 to $60.00
