Pay Rate/Range: The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.82/hour. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University. The full salary range for this position is $30.82 - $44.16/hour.
Work Location: 110 Castilian Dr, Suite 100 & various venues within SB County
Working Days and Hours: Variable ~ 10 hours/week; occasional nights & weekends as required

Brief Summary of Job Duties:
The Viva el Arte de Santa Barbara Program Coordinator provides part-time administrative, logistical, and community engagement support for UCSB Arts & Lectures' Viva el Arte de Santa Barbara initiative. This position helps ensure the successful planning and implementation of free, high-quality performances and educational activities that celebrate the richness and diversity of Latine arts and cultures throughout Santa Barbara County. Working collaboratively with Arts & Lectures staff, community partners, artists, and volunteers, the Coordinator serves as an ambassador for the Viva program and supports all aspects of event preparation, artist hospitality, community communications, volunteer coordination, and post-event documentation. This is a limited appointment position requiring a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings and weekends during program activities.

Travel Requirements:
Travel to Viva el Arte de Santa Barbara events is an essential part of the position. All travel is anticipated to be within Santa Barbara County.
