About the Role

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining cost and schedule control systems for complex programs operating under validated cost and schedule control requirements. The position supports program execution through financial planning, earned value management, forecasting, and variance analysis. The analyst works closely with program leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure contracts remain within approved cost, schedule, and performance baselines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain cost and schedule control systems for assigned programs
  • Monitor and control program costs and schedules using validated control methodologies
  • Prepare budgets, schedules, and forecasts for contract work
  • Perform financial analyses including funding profiles, cash forecasting, sales outlooks, and variance analysis
  • Support Control Account Managers (CAMs) in the Variance Analysis Reporting (VAR) process
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual Estimates at Complete (EACs)
  • Prepare and submit required financial and performance reports
  • Conduct schedule and cost risk assessments and support mitigation planning
  • Incorporate contractual changes into control systems to maintain accurate baselines
  • Track outstanding work and ensure cost and schedule baselines remain realistic
  • Collaborate with program management, scheduling, finance, and technical teams
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and performance measurement baselines
  • Experience with cost and schedule control on complex contracts
  • Experience with financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Experience performing variance analysis and risk management
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ANSI/EIA-748 and EVMS
  • Experience supporting monthly performance management processes
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience setting up validated cost control systems
  • Experience leading or supporting Baseline Change Control processes
  • Experience with proposal, pre-contract, or contract startup activities
  • Experience with financial audits or assessments of completed projects
  • Experience performing funding availability tracking and projections
