First and foremost, their role as Faculty members is to engage students, foster learning, role model professionalism, and ultimately produce competently trained students prepared for professional careers. Faculty designated as Program Directors also have the responsibility of developing and maintaining their programs.

The Program Director of Diagnostic Medical Sonography oversees the development and monitor the delivery of academic programs and is responsible for ensuring a quality education for students in their programs. The Program Director of Diagnostic Medical Sonography should have the minimum: Masters degree, Four years of experience in the field, Licensed ARDMS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands are those required in a professional office setting and higher education teaching environment: communicating with coworkers, presenting to a classroom of students (virtual classrooms for on-line), demonstrating procedures and techniques, and getting to and from appropriate classes and offices.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Professional office setting: moderate noise levels and controlled indoor climate.

LOCATION:
This position is an onsite position located at your campus unless otherwise determined by the Chancellor and/or designee. Any changes must be reviewed by the Campus President/Vice President and all final approvals must come from the Chancellor and/or designee.
