The Program Director is responsible for development, management and operations of an active recovery support center that develops and maintains peer-to-peer support services and activities provided for and by people in recovery from substance abuse.
The recovery support center is encompassed in peer governance and uses the peer participatory process to create a safe, inclusive environment to promote ongoing growth and long term recovery.

This position works closely with the Dept. of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, Regional Contract Manager, Level of Care Coordinator and the network of recovery centers and programs across the state and country.

Travel Requirements: Statewide travel is required for meetings, trainings and conferences. Occasionally there may be trips to other New England states for annual conferences or trainings.
