This role is responsible for curriculum quality, faculty development, accreditation readiness, student outcomes, regulatory compliance, and program growth.The successful candidate will inspire students, support faculty excellence, and ensure graduates are prepared for successful careers as professional nurses.Key ResponsibilitiesNursing Program LeadershipOversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Nursing curriculumEnsure program compliance with state, accreditation, and regulatory requirementsEvaluate textbooks, instructional materials, simulation equipment, and learning resourcesCollaborate with faculty and campus leadership to ensure consistent program deliveryLead curriculum reviews and implement enhancements aligned with healthcare industry needsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare partners and advisory boardsOversee clinical and externship experiencesSupport accreditation activities, audits, reporting, and program assessmentsLead faculty meetings, professional development initiatives, and annual convocation activitiesFaculty & InstructionTeach assigned nursing courses in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settingsDevelop lesson plans, learning activities, examinations, and assessmentsFoster an engaging and supportive learning environmentProvide academic coaching and mentorship to studentsEvaluate student performance and provide developmental feedbackMaintain accurate academic records and student documentationParticipate in faculty collaboration and continuous improvement initiativesStudent SuccessMonitor student attendance, academic progress, and retentionProvide guidance and intervention strategies for at-risk studentsSupport NCLEX readiness and student achievement initiativesServe as a mentor and role model for professionalism and excellence in nursing practiceIdeal CandidateWe are looking for a leader who is:Passionate about nursing educationCommitted to student successExperienced in healthcare leadershipSkilled at developing and mentoring facultyKnowledgeable about accreditation and regulatory standardsStrong in communication, organization, and relationship buildingDriven to improve outcomes and program qualityMinimum QualificationsProgram Directors oversee the development and monitor the delivery of academic programs and are responsible for ensuring a quality education for students in their programs.
