    Job Description

    OKC/Norman Area - The Program Director is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of their program. This role oversees clinical and administrative staff, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and develops services to meet community needs.

    POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide overall leadership and direction for programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services.
    • Oversee day-to-day clinical and operational functions, maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
    • Supervise and support staff including therapists, case managers, and support personnel including any applicable embedded staff.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and promote professional development.
    • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate multidisciplinary team members (therapists, case managers, peer support specialists, etc.).
    • Develop, implement, and monitor program goals, policies, and procedures that align with organizational objectives and best practices.
    • Ensure clinical services are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive to the needs of diverse populations.
    • Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and collaborate with finance staff to ensure fiscal responsibility.
    • Facilitate regular staff meetings, training, and interdisciplinary case consultations to promote team collaboration and service quality.
    • Prepare and submit reports, ensure proper documentation, and support data collection for quality assurance and funding requirements.
    • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and referral sources to support coordinated care and outreach.
    • Identify and pursue funding opportunities; contribute to grant applications and reporting as needed.
    • Represent the organization at external meetings, conferences, and community forums to advocate for services provided by Family & Children Services and support public education.
    • Monitor service outcomes and client satisfaction to guide continuous quality improvement initiatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION:

    • Master's Degree in related field is required

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 5+ years' of clinical and supervisory experience in mental health services.

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and the behavioral health continuum of care.
    • Understanding of the principles of clinical supervision and ethical standards in behavioral health professions.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise clinical and administrative staff effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and staff coaching.
    • Profecient in Misrosoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
    • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and foster a collaborative, supportive work environment.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to crises or urgent needs quickly and effectively.
    • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and implement changes across programs.
    • Ability to work with diverse populations and advocate for equitable access to mental health services.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate sound clinical judgment, and uphold professional ethics.

    CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

    • Must be licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC or other mental health professional
    • ODMHSAS Case Manager II Certification, completed within 60 days of eligibility.
    • Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record to use agency and/or personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office and/or for the transportation of clients.

    SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION:

    This job is classified as a "safety-sensitive" position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the "safety-sensitive" classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana per the Family & Children's Services Drug Free Workplace Policy, including possible revocation of a job offer or dismissal from employment.
