About The Role
We’re hiring a Program Director to help build and lead a new outpatient behavioral health program in the Hampton Roads area.
You’ll lead community outreach, supervise Resident Clinicians and interns, support clinical operations, and eventually manage a small therapy caseload once credentialing is complete.

AA&K Services is a growing outpatient mental health practice serving the Hampton Roads / Seven Cities, VA community, with a strong focus on veterans, PTSD support, and community mental health. AA&K Services recently secured its second veteran services grant.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $35-$45/hour
- Part-time: 20 hours per week
- Location: Virginia Beach / Seven Cities
- Flexible scheduling available
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build referral relationships with VA systems, hospitals, and community partners
- Provide Operational guidance to residents / interns
- Conduct up to 10 therapy sessions weekly post-credentialing
- Oversee clinical documentation and insurance paperwork turnaround
- Facilitate staff meetings and provide clinical support
- Participate in outreach events and community engagement initiatives
- Support program development as the organization continues to grow
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Virginia license-eligible LPC or LCSW status
- Clinical documentation and DSM-5 competency
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
