Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Engineer to join our team in supporting strategic weapon systems and subsystem technical design solutions for our Advanced Programs. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, planning, execution, and test and evaluation aspects of development programs, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and that programs are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, execution, integration, and testing, to develop and implement program plans. • Manage subsystem design, integration, testing, and schedule requirements of program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable in a cost-effective manner. • Coordinate and oversee the test and evaluation of strategic weapon system development programs, ensuring compliance with military standards and specifications. • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential program challenges. • Monitor program progress, track milestones, and prepare regular status reports for senior management and stakeholders. • Ensure that all engineering activities are performed in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. • Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and other program-related activities. • Manage program budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure successful program delivery. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. • Create and present design and test details at technical interchange meetings. • Oversee and support technical estimates for proposals. • Organize Program Management Execution Gates for leadership review and approval. • Conduct problem solving and assist in personnel development. • Engage with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field). • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program engineering, design, integration, and testing, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry with major acquisition programs. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering Design, Integration, Test and Evaluation. • Strong understanding of missile systems and military standards. • Successfully managed of complex engineering programs. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams spanning multiple sites, in different time zones within the United States. • Proficiency in program management software and tools. • SECRET Clearance (with ability to obtain SAP). • Ability to travel ~25%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field. • DoD test and evaluation certifications and experience. • Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Experience with systems engineering, integration, test and evaluation. • Familiarity with DoD major acquisition program processes and requirements. • Top SECRET Clearance
