Program Financial Control

The Leidos Civilian Agency Solution Business Area in the Digital Sector currently has an opening for a Program Financial Control Analyst. This position is supporting programs in the Public Service & Infrastructure portfolio in the Enterprise Civil Division. This analyst will support multiple IT oriented contracts. We are looking for a strong detail-oriented program financial analyst who has excellent communication skills and can support all aspects of financial control including planning, tracking, analysis, reporting, and billing. This position serves as liaison between the project management teams, finance and line management. The position will review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, prepare status reports as well as develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers and customers.

The successful candidate will work independently to support the objectives of the assigned projects. The position will have measurable impact on the project's operational accomplishments and will be responsible for specific processes within the project. This position requires a problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analyses of complex, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions. Excellent communication skills both internally and externally are essential to the success of this position as we work with all functional peers along with the project teams.

The roles and responsibilities of this position include and are not limited to:

• Continuous monitoring of contract actuals and performance
• Month-end analysis of plan vs actuals with an understanding of variance drivers
• Monthly invoice review, approval, and backup preparation when required
• Tracking A/R for your assigned contracts
• Quarterly Financial Status Review (QFSR) preparation
• Quarterly Forecast preparation for your assigned contracts
• Ad Hoc Reporting for your contracts
• Regular Communication with management team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of professional experience; or 1-2 years of prior relevant experience with a related Master's degree.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skillset
• Ability to work across multiple contracts and communicate with several stakeholders
• Independent worker, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer focused
• Able to work successfully in a remote team environment in diverse locations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of multiple contract types especially FFP and T&M
• Ability to thoroughly review EACs for accuracy and compliance
• Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence
• Experience with Fusion

Pay Range:

Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
