Program Integration & Regulatory Compliance Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Program Integration & Regulatory Compliance Engineer to support vehicle safety compliance and homologation activities throughout the product development lifecycle. This role is responsible for identifying applicable safety regulatory requirements, supporting compliance planning, tracking homologation progress, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure regulatory compliance across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify safety regulatory and homologation requirements for vehicle programs across applicable global markets.
  • Support cross-functional engineering teams in meeting regulatory compliance requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain safety compliance plans for vehicle programs.
  • Participate in regulatory planning activities and support implementation of compliance requirements.
  • Support the development and execution of homologation plans for global markets.
  • Track compliance documentation submissions and homologation progress.
  • Provide compliance risk assessments at key program milestones and reviews.
  • Support compliance demonstration activities during product development, launch, engineering changes, and field evaluations.
  • Contribute to program management activities to support product development timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year of program management experience (coursework may be considered).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting product development activities.
  • Knowledge of global automotive regulatory requirements, including FMVSS, ECE, GCC, and China regulations.
  • Knowledge of vehicle self-certification and vehicle type approval (witness testing) processes is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
