Description:The Platform Systems Program Manager will report to the Platform Systems Element Lead and include the following responsibilities:

  • Manage program Platform integration across CPS
  • Responsible for driving scope definition into contract and execution of the scope is completed in accordance with agreed upon schedules
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams through major milestones
  • Engage with senior government officials and LM executive leadership
  • manage customer interactions, communication and overall satisfaction
  • Manage subcontract scope and execution across multiple Contract Line items
  • Perform staffing planning across current and future contracts
  • Attract, develop, mentor, and retain a diverse workforce while cultivating an inclusive work environment

Basic Qualifications:

Experience planning technical efforts, including schedules, metrics, and budgets; solid understanding of earned value management and how the systems and processes work within Government funded programs

Experience coordinating complex situations across multi-functional teams

Experience with Subcontract management

Solid understanding of Contracting with Government Programs

Proven ability to lead teams through dynamic situations

Experience writing BOEs, working proposals, and developing cost estimates

Must have the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

Knowledge and experience with Hypersonic programs products and missions

Strong interpersonal skills with teamwork and transparency as a priority; demonstratable written communication and oral presentation skills

Experience as a CAM covering internal LM and subcontract scope

Demonstrated ability to build customer confidence and intimacy across multiple Mission Partners, LM Business Areas, and program areas

8+ years of program management and demonstrated leadership of diverse technical or finance teams

BS in finance and accounting with MS in Engineering Program management

Experience managing development contracts and ability to make changes on the go

demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities in an evolving engineering environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
