Program Management - Youth Sports Director

As a Youth Sports Program Director, you will:Plan, coordinate and schedule teams, leagues, tournaments and clinicsRecruit and supervise coaches and officialsOrganize and conduct coaches' trainings and meetingsDevelop and distribute sports rules, guidelines and handbooks.Organize and distribute team schedules and uniforms.Transport and set up equipment for games and practices.Regularly visits off-site program locations.Monitor and purchase necessary sporting equipment.Observe and assess situations within programs for safety, security and to detect adherence to policies. Communicates with and develops actions plans with participants, parents/guardians, school partners, etc. as needed.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in programs. Implements continuous program improvement processes and establishes new program activities as needed to better serve community members, YMCA members and program participants.Directly carry out supervisory responsibilities to effectively manage personnel in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
