Description:
Manages the day-to-day operations of a small or medium-sized university program or department. May supervise staff employees, student workers, programs or processes.
Plans and develops procedures for administering a small or medium-sized department or program.
Oversees program expenditures and ensures adherence to budget.
Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance.
May prepare or participate in the creation of abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, operations and procedure manuals, and other written material and documentation.
Reviews reports of budgets and activities.
Prepares ad hoc reports as needed.
May administer grants and grant-related related communications, scholarships and other operations.
Develops, implements and maintains appropriate policies and procedures.
May serve as property custodian for the department.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

This position works in the Office of Graduate and Professional Programs at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and remain flexible and positive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will provide outstanding customer service by effectively communicating with prospective students, applicants, faculty, staff, and external partners, building relationships while accurately conveying admissions information and representing the college in a professional, responsive, and student-centered manner.
Position includes the following responsibilities:
Maintaining key relationships with faculty, staff, prospects, applicants, organizations and businesses
Planning, organizing and executing recruitment and admissions events and projects
Presenting to both small and large audiences in relation to promoting the Graduate Programs
Building reports, including competitor analysis, application trends, and enrollment reports for the Master's programs.
Managing prospective student communications through CRM and admissions systems, including timely follow-up, outreach, and accurate documentation of recruitment activities.
Counseling prospective students and applicants throughout the admissions process by providing guidance on program options, application requirements, admissions policies, and enrollment steps while delivering exceptional customer service.

MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: No experience required.
