    Job Description

    What You Will Do

The Program Office for LANL's Project Nexus is responsible for successful implementation of SAP/S4 HANA and SAP SuccessFactors, replacing Oracle EBS and Hitachi AssetSuite. The Program Office is responsible for coordinating all project activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring alignment with business objectives. It also manages risk, budget, and timeline adherence. Working closely with stakeholders across the Laboratory, the Program Office provides governance, integration, and oversight to ensure successful delivery of modernized business processes and systems that support the Laboratory's mission. This position, in addition to the Program Office, will reside within ALDBUS-ERP and report to the Project Nexus Senior Director.

As the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Program Manager, you will provide leadership and overall management of the Project Nexus EAM portfolio, encompassing maintenance management, asset management, and property management. You will be accountable for leading this complex, cross-organizational scope from planning and design through implementation, deployment, and transition to operations.

The EAM Program Manager will serve as a primary interface among Laboratory business owners, Project Nexus leadership, implementation partners, and organizations whose missions and operations depend on effective management of Laboratory assets. You will exercise significant independent judgment in establishing priorities, integrating work across organizations, resolving issues, managing risk, and ensuring EAM capabilities are successfully delivered in alignment with Laboratory requirements and the broader Project Nexus transformation.

    • Lead the SAP/S4 EAM portfolio, including maintenance management, asset management, and property management, from planning and design through deployment and operational transition.
    • Develop and execute integrated work plans, establishing priorities, sequencing, resources, milestones, and performance expectations aligned with Project Nexus goals.
    • Serve as the primary interface with business owners, Project Nexus leadership, and implementation partners to define requirements, resolve issues, and drive decisions.
    • Direct implementation partners and subcontracted resources, ensuring deliverables meet scope, quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
    • Provide programmatic leadership across business process design, configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, reporting, and operational readiness.
    • Manage portfolio risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and escalate matters requiring broader program decisions.
    • Accountable for scope, cost, schedule, milestones, and overall performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Provide clear and timely status reporting to Project Nexus leadership, governance bodies, and Laboratory stakeholders.
    • Integrate safety, security, quality, regulatory compliance, and other Laboratory requirements into EAM planning and execution.
