Job Duties/Scope Of Work

The Work Management Program Manager serves as a pivotal contributor to the development, implementation, and coordination of Work Management activities. This position operates both independently and in collaboration with Work Management personnel to provide comprehensive oversight of computerized maintenance management programs in support of Work Management functions.


This position will require a motivated self-starter whose duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing administrative leadership and system ownership for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), the Job Control System (JCS) Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and Work Order Review and Approval processes.

• Serving as the Cost Account Manager for CMMS, including the EAM and JCS platforms.

• Performing Buyer Technical Representative (BTR) responsibilities, including invoice review and approval for assigned subcontracts, development of complex Statements of Work, and execution of change requests and contract modifications as required.

• Diagnosing and resolving workflow disruptions, process inefficiencies, and operational bottlenecks while collaborating with Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and Program/Project Managers across departments to develop strategic and sustainable solutions.

• Partnering with Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and Program/Project Managers to develop and implement both long-term and short-term strategic initiatives.

• Providing technical teams with detailed guidance, direction, and subject-matter advisement on CMMS strategies, while focusing on daily operational excellence.

• Executing Procedure Functional Management responsibilities and maintaining strict compliance with HMIS policies, procedures, and organizational requirements.

• Effectively interfacing —both verbally and in writing—with management and internal/external stakeholders regarding the status of Work Management CMMS operations and progress toward project milestones.

• Preparing and submitting Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Work Management reports with accuracy and timeliness.

• Contributing to the development and adoption of new concepts, techniques, and operational standards that advance Work Management capabilities.

• Proactively identifying issues, risks, and opportunities for cost and schedule savings, and initiating actions required to achieve assigned objectives.

• Serving as a change agent, ensuring Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) principles are embedded into organizational activities and that lessons learned are applied to improve future project performance.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager.


Basic Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.

• BA/BS degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 8 years experience relevant to Work Management, Planning & Scheduling, or a related field.

• Prior experience in a leadership capacity (e.g., project manager, team lead, foreman, supervisor, or manager).

• Ability to attain qualification as a Buyer Technical Representative (BTR) within six months of assignment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supported by a strong customer service orientation.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to utilize tools effectively to support Work Management functions.

•Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to think strategically, lead a diverse team, and maintain a solid understanding of business goals and organizational priorities.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.


Desired Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in Work Management or a closely related discipline.

• Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and sequence program activities effectively to ensure tasks are completed within defined timeframes, while appropriately considering operational impacts and decision consequences.

• Ability to attain qualification as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) within six months of assignment.

• Working knowledge of DOE Requirements Document 002 and DOE 4301.C, Real Property Asset Management, or the ability to obtain such knowledge in a timely manner.

Grade 18: $109,013 - $137,538

Grade 19: $119,813 - $151,038

Grade 20: $131,888 - $166,263

A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. The salary range listed represents the full range of salary that may be offered.


This position may be required to complete a probationary period. Benefits for eligible employees will begin on day one.
