Program Manager

Lead complex product development programs from customer proposal through qualification, certification, and production transition. Review customer requirements, proposals, and change requests to ensure alignment with technical, cost, and schedule objectives. Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts. Chair and coordinate cross-functional Integrated Product Teams across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain functions. Act as the primary customer contact for programs status, scope management, issue resolution, and progress reviews. Monitor program performance using established project management tools and metrics. Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks to support successful delivery. Drive alignment among internal stakeholders while ensuring customer expectations are met. Support new product introduction activities and facilitate a smooth handover into production. Prepare and present program reports, milestones, and performance updates to leadership and customers.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, project management, or a similar leadership role.
• Previous Tight Phase Gate program management experience.
• Strong understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively within technical product development and manufacturing environments.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of delivering results through cross-functional teams.
• Excellent planning, organization, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with strong stakeholder management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
• Eligibility to work with controlled information and meet applicable regulatory requirements.
• Experience within aerospace, defense, engineering, or highly regulated environments is advantageous.
• MBA, advanced management qualification, PMP, PMI certification, or equivalent training would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of engineering product development, qualification, or certification processes is preferred.
