POSITION DUTIES
The Revenue Administration Division of the Comptroller''s Office is seeking an experienced leader to manage the Returns Processing section.
The main purpose of this job is to manage, supervise and direct the activities of the Returns Processing Section, which include the Data Capture, Document Control and Error Correction Units.Â
Job duties for this position include but are not limited to, overall work flow within the section, ensuring the timely processing of all incoming tax returns, staffing of the section, all HR related transactions, forms training, and employee training for Income Tax System, Employee PEP evaluations, and work with other section managers within the division to complete the goals of the division. This position is considered emergency essential. Telework eligible after successful completion of probationary time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.Â
Experience: Six years of professional work experience in auditing, accounting, tax law, senior management, or customer service. Four years of this professional work experience must have involved supervising professional revenue administrators, accountants, or auditors, or providing legal advice requiring the interpretation of tax laws in the capacity of a tax attorney, or having been in a responsible administrative or management capacity.Â
