Piper Companies is looking to hire an onsite Program Manager based in Valley Green, PA. The Program Manager role supports a global leader in high-speed interconnect and electronics manufacturing, driving complex new product development initiatives for telecom and datacom markets.
Responsibilities of the Program Manager:
- Lead end-to-end program execution for complex new product development, ensuring alignment with customer specifications, timelines, and budgets
- Serve as the primary communication interface with customers, managing expectations, project updates, and technical requirements
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional, global teams while coordinating internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Oversee project planning, scope definition, risk mitigation, and capacity planning to meet production and market demands
- Drive decision-making to accelerate time-to-market while maintaining financial objectives, including cost management and capital requests
Qualifications of the Program Manager:
- 4+ years of program management experience within manufacturing, mechanical, or hardware-focused environments
- Proven ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced projects with constant change and ambiguity
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including conflict resolution between customers and internal teams
- Technical aptitude, including the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and product documentation
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in root cause analysis
- Willingness to travel 50-60% to Santa Clara, CA/RTP, NC in the beginning, then taper off
Compensation for the Program Manager includes:
Salary range: $120,000-$150,000
