Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: $80.00 $82.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Travel Requirements: Travel may be required within the service territory (approximately 50% travel possible).
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Program Manager, Career role responsible for completing assignments of moderate scope and complexity. The position requires some guidance on moderately complex issues and may involve participation on project teams. The role calls for an understanding of the basic organizational structure and how to utilize available resources, as well as communication with peers inside and outside of the organization to exchange ideas or gather information.

Required Skills

  • Full understanding of Program Management.
  • Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projects.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, perform, and communicate activities both in written and verbal form.
  • Knowledge of current utility and energy industry issues, industry trends and political, economic, and social issues affecting the market.
  • Knowledge of energy industry applications to local level customers, including energy issues, customer energy efficiency applications, and general customer information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • California PCA License required.

Required Experience

  • 3 years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Rodent abatement experience preferred.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office environment with extensive use of personal computers, telephone conversations, conference calls, and in-person meetings.
  • Travel may be required within the service territory (up to approximately 50%); travel expenses including mileage may be submitted for reimbursement with prior manager approval.
  • Phone and internet expenses may be submitted at a set monthly amount with prior manager approval.
  • Company laptop will be provided; vendor/personal equipment may be used until the laptop is ready.
  • Vendor may need to provide docking station.
  • PPE will be provided by the client if needed.
  • Local candidates only.
