The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and supporting all APQP activities required for prototype and new product launches. This role ensures the success of each program by interfacing with customers, suppliers, and internal departments, including Engineering, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing.
 
Salary Range: $71,985-$107,977
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and direct programs with detailed planning to meet goals and objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the customer and A.J. Rose.
  • Maintain cost and timing targets throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop schedules, plans, budgets, resource allocation, and other support requirements for assigned programs.
  • Ensure all customer APQP and PPAP requirements are met.
  • Provide program status updates to management at key milestones.
  • Perform quality functions such as assessing dimensional data and creating Control Plans and PFMEAs.
  • Ensure profitability of programs through efficient planning and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality specifications and business systems.
  • Improve program implementation procedures and processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and make informed decisions to drive program success.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in stamping-related environments.
  • Background in project/process engineering, quality assurance/control, purchasing, or production management is beneficial.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of metal forming, particularly stamping and spin forming.
  • Familiarity with assembly processes and automotive supplier portals.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Conceptual creativity with the ability to manage complex tasks.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Team-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
