Job Summary
The Program Manager, Compliance Auditing & Monitoring leads the execution of the organizations Compliance Audit Plan, ensuring activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational priorities. This role supervises audit and monitoring staff, providing direction, oversight, and performance coaching while managing multiple engagements to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes. The Program Manager reviews audit work, leverages data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness, and ensures findings and corrective actions are properly documented and communicated. Additionally, the role supports the annual risk assessment process and collaborates with leadership to address emerging compliance risks and organizational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees
Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, Informatics, Healthcare Administration or another business-related field
Master's Degree Business Administration or AccountingPreferred
Licenses & Certifications:
Cert Health Compliance Preferred
Certified Public Accountant Preferred
Work Experience:
Five (5) Years Work Experience Experience supervising and coordinating audit and monitoring activities in a healthcare or regulated environment.
Experience using data analytics, data mining, compliance investigations, and electronic health record data to support audit planning, testing, and follow up activities.
Preferred:
Knowledge of the Epic electronic medical record platform is preferred.
Proficiency in data analytics with expertise in data mining and data analytics technology.
Management Experience:
Two (2) Years of Management Experience Experience supervising staff and overseeing day to day work activities.
Experience supporting audit or oversight activities in an organizational or regulated environment.
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)Above average verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively, using language and tone appropriate to the subject matter and audience.
Writing/Reports Ability to prepare clear, detailed written reports summarizing audit scope and purpose, findings or conclusions, compliance risk analysis, and corrective action recommendations.
