Job Description:

12+ Month Contract

Hybrid On-Site Dearborn MI 4 Days

$55-65/HR

Position Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support program and project execution across multiple teams and initiatives. This role will be responsible for program governance, planning, reporting, process improvement, and collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex programs, facilitating Agile/SAFe planning activities, and developing reporting solutions that provide visibility into program health and delivery performance. A strong understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle-from concept and design through engineering, manufacturing, and launch-is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Coordination

  • Manage program-level activities, timelines, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and issues (RAID).
  • Support multiple projects through governance, reporting, and execution oversight.
  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, demand planning, and roadmap execution across multiple teams.
  • Support strategic planning efforts and align program goals with business objectives.
  • Identify and proactively address cross-functional risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.
  • Coordinate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Scrum Masters, and project stakeholders.
  • Track PI objectives, team capacity, and cross-team dependencies.

Jira Administration & Reporting

  • Build and maintain Jira boards, dashboards, workflows, and reporting structures.
  • Develop custom filters and JQL queries to support sprint, epic, release, and portfolio tracking.
  • Ensure data integrity and provide visibility into project and program performance.

Process Documentation

  • Create and maintain process flow diagrams using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or draw.io.
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), RACI matrices, governance processes, and workflow documentation.
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

SharePoint Management

  • Build, maintain, and administer SharePoint sites for document management and team collaboration.
  • Manage permissions, document libraries, and site structure.
  • Support basic workflow automation through Power Automate.

Reporting & Analytics (Power BI)

  • Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor program health and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Create burn-down, burn-up, and executive-level reporting dashboards.
  • Integrate and analyze data from Jira and other enterprise systems.
  • Deliver actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or product development organizations

Education

Required

  • Bachelors Degree

Preferred

  • Relevant professional certification or certification program

Additional Information

  • Hybrid Schedule: 4 days per week onsite with the potential to work remotely 1 day per week.
  • Must be comfortable working across multiple teams, programs, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
