Under the immediate supervision of the Klaras Center for Families Division Director and Klaras Children’s Center Director, provides clinical and programmatic oversight of all EOAC/ HOTBHN Collaboration Mental Health Services. This includes the development, implementation, and management of programs and staff including direct supervision of staff, both vocational and clinical supervision. This position will also include the responsibility of managing the budget for the EOAC/ HOTBHN Collaboration, seeking additional funding for sustainability and expansion as well as to serve as a liaison with community partners and Head Start and Early Head Start campuses and EOAC leadership.


EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
  • Provide oversight of program and staff including both vocational and clinical supervision.
  • Management of program including the budget, staff training, billing, staff documentation, program audits, personnel, performance evaluations and direct supervision of program supervisory staff
  • Manage budget and is active in seeking additional funding for sustainability and expansion of programming.
  • Responsible for all contract related requirements relevant for program
  • Provide education, presentations and trainings to Head Starts and Early Head Start as requested.
  • Acts as liaison between Klaras Center for Families and Klaras Children’s Center, Head Start and Early Head Start administration, staff and personnel and other relevant community partners
  • Increases knowledge of supervision/leadership, psychotherapeutic, social work concepts.
  • Performs related work as required.

Experience and Education:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field from an accredited school and a license in social work, psychology, counseling or related field.
Supervisory experience and case management is required.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Considerable knowledge of the early childhood mental health and development principles, methods, techniques, and practices, the functioning of social services or treatment facility of community resources and how to use them effectively. Strong clinical skills and ability to lead, guide and teach others in clinical practice.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent time management and organizational/filing skills.
  • Ability to hire/train staff.
  • Ability to supervise 5 staff members.
  • Knowledge to develop policy/procedures.
  • Ability to manage program area.
  • Must be able to transport clients.
  • Must have rehabilitation/skills training. and treatment planning
  • Must have excellent clinical documentation skills.

Hours: 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri

Salary: Hourly $26.92   Annual $56,000
