Job Responsibilities

• Manage new project requests involving technology, evaluating and prioritizing them.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, clinicians, and cross-functional teams to assess technology opportunities.
• Act as the central point of contact for project submissions and ideas.
• Ensure thorough documentation of business needs, value propositions, cost estimates, impacts, and risk levels.
• Coordinate with EPMO governance committees for project approval, deferral, or rejection.
• Maintain visibility across the demand lifecycle using ServiceNow.
• Directly manage projects, ensuring effective management of scope, schedule, budget, and benefits.

Requirements

• 10 years of healthcare IT project management experience.
• Solid project management background in a hospital or health system IT environment.
• Experience with business process documentation and re-design across multiple functional areas.
• Strong communication skills for executive-level interactions.
• Proven record of delivering projects on time and within budget and scope.

Preferences

• PMP certification preferred, but extensive relevant experience will be accepted.
• Experience with budgeting and project financial management.
• Experience developing business cases and managing RAID logs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
