Position Overview

Starting Salary Range is $63,273.60 - $66,501. The initial salary offer is commensurate with education and related work experience.

The Program Manager is responsible for direct oversight of Cross Credit Healthcare programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create/maintain course schedules.
  • Review marketing materials and websites for accuracy.
  • Participate in recruiting events as needed.
  • Assist with student advising as needed.
  • Recruit, screen, hire, supervise, and evaluate instructors.
  • Monitor prospective students for completion of healthcare requirements.
  • Maintain course and instructor files as required by THECB, SACSCOC, and other credentialing or accrediting agencies.
  • Monitor Cross Credit Healthcare classes to ensure quality instruction.
  • Monitor student progress and refer to resources as needed.
  • Implements enrollment procedures and processes (performing Apply TX queries, registering students for classes according to their program selection, dropping students as appropriate, etc.)
  • Communicate with potential and current students regarding course information, materials required, etc.
  • Maintain class supply lists and communicate lab supply needs with the Healthcare Lab & Simulation Center Coordinator.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains a work schedule according to position requirements (40 hours/week)
  • Work hours may include evenings or weekends as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Some travel required, as needed

Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • At least two (2) years of related work experience in community education, corporate training, professional continuing education, staff development, or similar instructional programs.
  • Experience in supervision or leading teams.
  • Knowledge of communities Lee College serves.
  • Detail oriented with a strong ability to multitask and meet critical deadlines.
  • Manage, organize, and communicate information of varying technical complexity.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with diverse populations/groups/teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with project coordination.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including navigating the internet for research & marketing purposes.
