    Description

    Elbit Systems is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenas. We develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security and commercial applications.

    We are looking for a Program Manager to join our HPL Business Unit, which is part of the ISTAR & EW Division. The job is located in Rehovot.

    The HPL Business Unit is a world leader in in developing and producing state-of-the art High Power Laser systems. Our portfolio includes wide-range of High Power Laser system solutions for land and airborne applications.

    The Program Manager will join our successful team, leading the large scale programs in the core of our business.

    Responsibilities:

    • End to end management of multi-million $ projects, from contract signing, through development and production, till delivery and installation of the system at the customers site
    • Build and control the program work plan, resources, budget and risk management
    • Act as the focal point to the customer, including on-going communications, meetings, updates, and joint teamwork
    • Multi-interface matrix management in the fields of development, production, procurement and more
    • Leading effectively the development and operation teams based on strong technical background with multi-disciplinary and complex systems
    • Identifying and initiating business opportunities and developing relationships with the customers

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in management/engineering/Exact Sciences from a Relevant Field
    • Experience in managing and leading complex projects/processes
    • Multitasking capabilities
    • Experience in writing technical/contractual documents and preparing and delivering presentations
    • Comprehensive understanding of financial, budgeting, and cost control aspect and budget management principles
    • Experience in leading large-scale programs in the defense field - an advantage
    • Experience in multi-interface matrix management - an advantage
    • Ability to learn independently and think "outside the box" - an advantage
    • Ability to lead business development and marketing processes with overseas customers - an advantage
    • Fluent English
    • Willingness to travel abroad
