As a Program Manager on the Transportation Engineering Systems (TESS) team, you will learn how Amazon"s proprietary transportation systems make decisions to move packages from the fulfillment network to customers. You will manage system configuration changes that control those systems, working directly with business leaders and program teams to create new transportation flows and design configurations that execute at scale. In this role, you will execute network design changes, dive deep into package flows, troubleshoot system errors, identify process improvements, and build automation, analytics, and reporting capabilities leveraging AI.
Key job responsibilities
Manage system configuration changes across Amazon"s proprietary transportation systems to support new and existing package flows
Track program milestones and communicate status to business leaders and stakeholders
Execute network design changes end-to-end, coordinating with business leaders and program teams to ensure timely delivery
Dive deep into package flow data to troubleshoot system errors, identify root causes, and implement fixes
Identify process improvement opportunities and build automation to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy
Develop analytics and reporting capabilities leveraging AI to drive data-driven decision-making
Proactively identify and mitigate risks in system configurations before they impact customers
Document processes, standard operating procedures, and configuration playbooks for the team
