    Main Purpose of Job

    The Program Manager II position for the IID Support Services Unit, provides strategic vision and full executive oversight for the expanded Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) Support Services Unit. This role directs all administrative, operational, and technical support functions for IID and shares information to the DPSCS Office of the Secretary leadership and other State and Federal agency leaders. Manages critical resources, ensuing legal compliance, and maintaining agency-wide data integrity

    POSITION DUTIES

    The Program Manager II position for the IID Support Services Unit, provides strategic vision and full

    executive oversight for the expanded Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) Support Services

    Unit. This role directs all administrative, operational, and technical support functions for IID and

    shares information to the DPSCS Office of the Secretary leadership and other State and Federal

    agency leaders. Manages critical resources, ensuing legal compliance, and maintaining agency-wide

    data integrity.

    ï· Personnel & Leadership Oversight

    ï· Strategic Planning/Development, Policy Compliance, Audit Oversight, and Data Analytics

    ï·Â Makes Critical Decisions and Recommendations

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Bachelor''s Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology

    Experience: 7 Years of experience managing law enforcement support services staff

    DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Experience managing the DPSCS Law Enforcement Records Management System (RMS)

    2. Experience managing Maryland Public Information Act (PIA) Requests and (MPIA) Requests

    LIMITATIONS ON SELECTION

    This recruitment is limited to current DPSCS Intelligence & Investigative Division employees.

    LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

    Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator''s license valid in the State of Maryland.

    · Personal Leave - new State employees are awarded six (6) personnel days annually (prorated based on start date)

    · Annual Leave - ten (10) days of accumulated annual leave per year

    · Sick Leave - fifteen (15) days of accumulated sick leave per yearÂ

    · Parental Leave - up to sixty (60) days of paid parental leave upon the birth or adoption of a childÂ

    · Holidays - State employees also celebrate at least twelve (12) holidays per year
