Description Amazon.com is seeking a Program Manager II to join our Global Logistics Exports team. In this role, you will develop optimized processes for handling export shipments to connected countries. You'll work on creating a cost-effective, fast delivery service for customers in neighboring countries, managing customs clearance and last-mile delivery. Key job responsibilities - Develop and optimize processes for cross-border shipping exports - Create efficient customs clearance and last-mile delivery solutions - Analyze data using various tools to highlight successes and areas for improvement - Develop action plans and implement process improvements based on data analysis - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the global shipping experience - Contribute to the globalization of B2C delivery services, setting new industry standards A day in the life As a Program Manager in Global Carrier Management, your day typically begins with team meetings where you'll align on priorities and ongoing projects. Throughout the day, you'll dive into shipping data analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization in our global logistics network. You'll spend time collaborating with 3P customs and logistics partners, working to streamline cross-border processes and enhance efficiency. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to developing and presenting process improvement proposals to leadership, while also implementing new shipping solutions to enhance the customer experience. Your role involves regular interaction with 3P carriers and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on global logistics strategies and maintaining strong partnerships across the organization. About the team The Global Logistics Exports team at Amazon is dedicated to innovating and operating cross-border e-commerce shipping, fulfillment, and customs capabilities. We aim to make cross-border shipping as simple, fast, and reliable as domestic shipping for customers in over 190 countries. Our team reaches customers on all seven continents, constantly pushing boundaries to deliver superior global logistics solutions. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field - Experience working with and managing third party vendors Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules - If you are not sure that every qualification on the list above describes you exactly, we'd still love to hear from you! Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
