Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Program Manager II for a Contract job with a client in Waltham, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience in project development, siting, permitting, land and real estate coordination, routing analysis, and infrastructure project support, along with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program Manager II Job Responsibilities Include:

• Support planning, siting, routing, permitting, and land development activities for transmission, energy generation, and large-load infrastructure projects.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, permitting, commercial, construction, stakeholder engagement, government relations, and project management groups to advance project objectives.

• Support land and real estate activities including property identification, due diligence reviews, landowner coordination, parcel research, and acquisition-related documentation.

• Conduct routing, siting, and constraints analysis activities while supporting project feasibility assessments, permitting strategies, and development planning efforts.

• Assist with permit application support, regulatory documentation, Right of Entry processes, stakeholder communications, and project milestone tracking.

• Maintain project data, reporting metrics, budgets, risk registers, and development documentation while providing analytical support to inform business and project decisions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, Real Estate, Geography, Project Management, or a related field.

• Three to five years of experience supporting infrastructure projects, project development, land management, permitting, utility programs, or related project coordination activities.

• Experience working with project teams across multiple functions in a matrixed environment while supporting development and execution objectives.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, organize, evaluate, and interpret project, land, and development-related data.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related business productivity tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with GIS tools, mapping applications, and spatial data analysis used to support routing and siting decisions.

• Experience supporting transmission line development, utility infrastructure projects, renewable energy projects, or large-scale industrial developments.

• Knowledge of permitting requirements, Right of Entry processes, landowner engagement activities, and project development workflows.

• Understanding of easement acquisition processes, right-of-way requirements, land development activities, and property due diligence practices.

• Experience working within Midwest utility markets, transmission projects, PJM territories, or regulated utility environments.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $56.00 per hour
