    XThe application window will be open until at least September 10, 2026. This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date.

    In accordance with Washington state law, we are highlighting our comprehensive benefits package, which is available to all eligible US based employees. Benefits for this role include:

    • Health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance
    • Retirement Benefits: 401(k) with company match
    • Paid Time Off: 20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment
    • Sick Time: 40 hours/year (increased to 69 hours/year for Seattle) including 5 discretionary sick days per instance
    • Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability + Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
    • Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks
    • Holidays: 13 paid days per year

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor"s degree or equivalent practical experience.

    • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

    • Experience in capacity planning.

    • Experience with technical environments such as google cloud.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

    • Hardware or systems background to understand how technology changes influence our ability to grow.

    • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain management.

    • Knowledge of the tools and elements of project management. Firm sense of accountability and ownership for the end-to-end project lifecycle.

    • Ability to use project management techniques to drive physical or development tasks to completion.

    • Aptitude for quantitative assessment and analysis across multiple technical disciplines.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It"s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop robust technical processes to scale Cloud's resource management.
    • Maintain analytics to understand obscured problems, propose data-driven solutions, support proposed solutions, and own and manage the execution.
    • Have stewardship of regional health of Cloud"s availability zones across the globe. Manage complexity, cost, and risk in partnership with cross-functional stakeholder teams across SREs, Devs, PMs, Supply Chain, Planning and Efficiency.
    • Manage hardware lifecycle for GCPs machines in both Google-owned Data Centers as well as Colocation facilities.
    • Prioritize and manage capacity to ensure GCP"s external customers can scale by ensuring the right type of machines are available in the right place at the right time.
