Expected pay for this position is $48.13 - $56.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Program Manager of Illinois Pathology Services (IPS) is responsible for overall business operations for Illinois Pathologist Services (IPS) across OSF Healthcare, including developing and executing operational, financial, and strategic goals. Scope includes recruitment, contracting for both employment and professional service agreements, business development, planning and executing strategic initiatives, working with third party vendors, overseeing billing company and financial performance, monitoring productivity, and standardizing practice in the delivery of high-quality care across all IPS locations.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business-related field.

Experience:

  • 3 years of healthcare related experience.
  • 2 years or more of leadership experience, including working closely with physicians and executive leaders.

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Ability to regularly travel across all IPS sites, at least 25% per month.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare or business-related field.

Experience:

  • Previous experience with laboratory operations.
  • Previous Project/Program Management experience.
