GA Intelligence

Job Summary:

General Atomics Integrated Intelligence Inc. (GA-Intelligence) develops cutting-edge software solutions that transform raw data into actionable intelligence. We specialize in real-time global situational awareness and battle management, processing petabytes of data from hundreds of sources across air, land, and sea. Our systems—including the widely used THRESHER and DRAGONSPELL platforms—support tens of thousands of users across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community and enable mission-critical national security operations.

We operate at the scale of global sensor networks—processing hundreds of thousands of observations per minute. Our architecture leverages technologies such as Kafka, AWS, NiFi, and GeoMesa (which we designed and open-sourced) to deliver resilient, high-throughput systems that convert streaming data into operational advantage.

WhyGA-Intelligence?

At GA-Intelligence, we build real systems that operators rely on every day. We combine the credibility of a seasoned defense contractor with the agility and technical depth of a mission-driven software company. As a privately held organization, we make long-term decisions grounded in mission impact—not quarterly earnings cycles.

If you are motivated by complex systems, national security missions, and leading high-performing teams to deliver enduring capability, GA-Intelligence is where you belong.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a large-scale, mission-critical software development program supporting Intelligence Community customers.

This leader is accountable for overall program execution, customer partnership, financial performance, and delivery excellence. The role requires a technically grounded program manager who can engage confidently at the architectural level while maintaining disciplined execution of traditional program management responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

Own Program Execution & Accountability

+ Serve as the single point of accountability for program cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction

+ Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, staffing plans, and margin performance

+ Ensure timely, accurate delivery of CDRLs and all contractual obligations

+ Lead risk and opportunity management processes, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies

+ Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and program execution plans

+ Represent the program to senior company leadership and government stakeholders

Partner with the Government PMO

+ Work directly with the Government Program Management Office to align on strategy, roadmap, and long-term mission objectives

+ Translate high-level mission outcomes into executable program plans

+ Provide transparent reporting on program health, risks, and performance

+ Support contract modifications, growth initiatives, and strategic planning efforts

Lead Complex Software Delivery

+ Develop and maintain working knowledge of system architecture at the box-diagram level, including major components, data flows, and integration points

+ Engage engineering and technical leaders to understand trade-offs, risks, and technical dependencies

+ Ensure technical decisions are aligned with contractual requirements and mission objectives

+ Oversee cross-functional coordination across software engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and deployment teams

Understand the Mission & Domain

+ Learn and internalize the operational mission context and intelligence domain

+ Ensure the program’s direction supports evolving customer needs and real-world operational requirements

+ Build trusted relationships across Intelligence Community stakeholders

Build and Lead High-Performing Teams

+ Provide leadership, direction, and accountability across program management and technical teams

+ Establish clear expectations and a culture of ownership and execution discipline

+ Mentor and develop subordinate program managers and functional leads

+ Foster collaboration across geographically distributed teams

We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
