Seeking a Project Manager or Program Manager to support a growing engineering-driven manufacturing organization in Fort Valley, GA. This role is focused on project execution, workflow management, and driving timelines across multiple concurrent manufacturing engineering initiatives. Ideal candidates will bring a hands-on, proactive mindset and be comfortable partnering with engineering, operations, and production teams to keep projects moving.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, including a mix of large, long-term programs and smaller, fast-paced initiatives with varying scope and timelines.
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables, milestones, timelines, and action items remain on track.
  • Coordinate daily project activities using Microsoft Project and action item trackers to ensure the team remains on task.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, timing plans, and budgets under the direction of senior leadership.
  • Track progress across teams and drive accountability on deliverables, milestones, and action items.
  • Support documentation, reporting, and stakeholder updates, including status reports and leadership presentations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, track, and align resource needs to support successful project completion.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to streamline workflows, team communication, and reporting processes.
  • Draft Statements of Work (SOW) and maintain centralized archives for all project documentation, including key milestones.

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of program or project management experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment; mechanical engineering background strongly preferred, including engineers who transitioned into project/program management
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business-related field required
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with varying scope, size, and timelines
  • Experience with Microsoft Project for scheduling, tracking, and execution preferred; SharePoint or Power BI experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals with ability to coordinate workflows and drive progress across cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to push projects forward while maintaining strong working relationships
  • Automotive or manufacturing engineering or program/project management experience is a plus
