Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the colleges communications and marketing strategy across print, digital, web, social media, photography, video, and other multimedia platforms.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing, recruitment, and communications materials, including news stories, newsletters, promotional content, and digital media.
• Manage and enhance the college website by ensuring timely, engaging, and accurate content while monitoring website performance and search engine optimization (SEO).
• Develop and implement communications strategies to support college events, student recruitment initiatives, and strategic priorities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Manage communications and recruitment projects by coordinating timelines, facilitating stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring successful project completion.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with university partners to promote college programs, events, and initiatives.
• Supervise communications staff, interns, and student employees while fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree and four years of experience related to media, communications, and/or marketing services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of related experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in communication, recruitment, and event management.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and photo/video editing tools.
• Experience supervising staff and/or student employees.
• Experience managing social media accounts for an organization.
• Experience with web content management systems and SEO best practices.

Anticipated Salary Range

The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the range of mid to high $40,000's, commensurate with experience and education.
