Program Manager

Summary

Our client is undertaking a global finance and accounting systems modernization program, migrating from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion and consolidating to a single general ledger to support global growth. The program has already rolled out in India and the UK and is now expanding into the US and Canada including standing up a brand-new Canada entity. This Program Manager will own US and Canada implementation, working closely with an existing UK-based program manager who leads the broader global initiative, and will report to a US-based leader while coordinating closely with the London-led project team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the US and Canada implementation for a global ERP/GL modernization program.
  • Partner closely with the UK-based program manager and international business sponsor on planning and execution.
  • Drive alignment and delivery with third-party implementation vendors.
  • Manage communication and translation between technical teams and business/finance stakeholders.
  • Lead process improvement and change management across the US and Canada finance/accounting teams.
  • Support build-out of the new Canada entity through the implementation lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Program Manager-level experience with strong ownership of scope, timeline, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Technical aptitude with general ERP/application implementation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across differing PMO structures (structured UK PMO vs.
  • more hybrid US environment).
  • Strong executive and cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Flexibility for occasional early-morning meetings to overlap with UK hours.

Preferred

  • Oracle Fusion or broader Oracle ERP implementation experience.
  • Experience on global or multi-region program implementations.
  • Background in financial systems modernization or general ledger consolidation.

This is a 12-month+ Contract opportunity with our Overland Park, KS client.
