Program Manager-Procurement Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Procurement Operations Program Manager will support the end-to-end delivery of global procurement transformation initiatives as well as day-to-day operational activities, all while leading the internal communication and change-enablement strategies that inform, align, and empower employees. This role requires a strong writer, strategic thinker, and rigorous project manager capable of overseeing complex source-to-pay system implementations and process overhauls in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate excels at building cross-functional partnerships, simplifying complex procurement workflows, and helping teams adopt new operational behaviors through clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and well-organized information

Procurement Operations/Program Management

• Execute and support day-to-day procurement tasks, transactional activities, and operational escalations to ensure smooth, continuous service delivery.
• Execute Complex Workstreams: Manage concurrent strategic projects and communication workstreams, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Build scalable workflows, manage templates, and track key metrics to continuously refine procurement efficiency and measure the success of change initiatives.

Communication Strategy & Content Management

• Drive Strategic Messaging: Develop and execute internal communication plans that align with procurement goals and maintain consistent messaging across the organization.
• Manage Knowledge & Content: Create engaging multimedia content (announcements, micro-learning, presentations) and optimize the procurement knowledge base (e.g., Confluence) with structured architecture for intuitive self-service.

Change Management & Enablement

• Lead System & Process Adoption: Direct change communications for procurement transformations (e.g., new Source-to-Pay tools), ensuring organizational readiness and transparency.
• Deliver Targeted Training: Develop comprehensive training programs, toolkits, and documentation tailored for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maximize adoption.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor s degree in Communications, Business, or a related field, with 8 to 10 years of internal communications, change enablement, or program management experience.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience within Supply Chain or Procurement organizations is strongly preferred.
• Communication & Content Creation: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and develop multimedia training assets.
• Change & Project Management: Rigorous project-management skills with experience driving organizational change, technology rollouts, and navigating ambiguity. (Familiarity with change-management frameworks is a plus.)
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience building and organizing content across internal platforms, specifically Confluence, company intranets, and Google Workspace.
• Highly collaborative with a proven ability to build trust, partner with senior leaders, and drive cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced environment.
