Program Manager

Payrate: $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
 
Summary:
The role is responsible for leading strategic planning, execution, and delivery of workplace construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects across a dynamic global corporate portfolio. This position serves as the primary project leader for workplace buildouts, tenant improvements, office renovations, lab projects, and site enhancements while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings 10-12 years of commercial construction project management experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
 
Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of workplace construction and renovation projects from concept through occupancy.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Oversee tenant improvements (TI), office renovations, workplace modernization initiatives, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and corporate standards.
• Strategic planning of office and labs in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, San Jose, and Longmont, CO.
• Manage contractor selection, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve project issues proactively.
• Track project budgets, approve invoices, manage change orders, and provide financial reporting.
• Partner with Facilities, IT, Security, EHS, HR, and business leaders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, schedules, status reports, and executive presentations.
• Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranty management, and lessons learned.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, standards, and workplace delivery practices.

 
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field.
• 10-12 years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing workplace, corporate office, lab, or industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with budgets ranging from small improvements to large capital investments.
• Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, ADA requirements, and workplace safety standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

 
Skills

• PMP, CCM, LEED, or related professional certification.
• Experience working within technology, manufacturing, semiconductor, or corporate campus environments.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, MS Project, Box or similar project management tools.
• Experience with workplace strategy, occupancy planning, and team member experience initiatives.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $45.00 - $53.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
