Program Manager – Automotive Manufacturing - Plastic Injection Molding

An international automotive manufacturing company with a facility in the Shelby Township, MI area is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity with their growing engineering team. Qualified Program Managers will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• 7-10+ years of Program Manager experience with Leading Cross Functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Tooling, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations to ensure Program Milestones.  

• Experience with Plastic Injection Molded automotive parts including coatings. 

• Experience with managing all phases of program including APQP, PPAP, Program Performance metrics and KPI's

• Experience reporting Status Reports and Presentations. Experience with risk mitigation and contingency plans to minimize delays and cost impacts.   

• BS Degree in Engineering or Business required, Masters Degree preferred

• Strong communication and project coordination skills with the ability to work directly with customers, suppliers, engineering teams, and metrology groups.

• Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).

• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks, including background check, drug screen, references, etc.
