Program Manager, Strategic Marketing

Location: Chicagoland Area, open to remote

Travel: Less than 10%

Molex is seeking a highly organized, results-oriented Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives that require rigorous planning, stakeholder alignment, and disciplined execution.

The position is responsible for translating strategic business objectives into executable plans, driving accountability across stakeholders, proactively managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring work remains aligned across numerous interconnected teams. This role will support strategic marketing initiatives, including acquisition integration, digital transformation programs, and marketing technology implementations.

This role sits at the center of highly visible enterprise initiatives, serving as a critical connection point between Marketing, Information Technology, and business leadership teams.

Success requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, balance competing priorities, and maintain executive visibility into program progress and outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Lead large-scale, highly visible marketing initiatives from initiation through completion.
  • Represent Marketing in enterprise-wide initiatives, advocating for marketing priorities, identifying impacts to marketing teams, and ensuring marketing requirements are incorporated into cross-functional decisions and program plans.
  • Serve as the primary representative and advocate for Marketing within enterprise programs, ensuring marketing priorities, requirements, and deliverables are effectively integrated into broader business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, dependency maps, decision logs, and risk registers.
  • Partner closely with non-Marketing stakeholder teams to develop implementation strategies and execution plans
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear execution plans and actionable workstreams.
  • Coordinate work across multiple functional teams to ensure interdependent activities remain aligned and sequenced appropriately.
  • Align resources, timelines, communications, and stakeholder expectations across technical and business teams.
  • Monitor progress against key milestones and escalate critical issues when appropriate.
  • Drive accountability across teams to ensure commitments are met and issues are resolved quickly.
  • Identify program risks early and implement mitigation strategies before they impact project outcomes.
  • Facilitate decision-making by bringing the right stakeholders together with the information needed to move forward.
  • Create executive-ready dashboards, presentations, status reports, and meeting materials.
  • Provide visibility into project performance, budget considerations, resource constraints, risks, and dependencies.
  • Deliver concise and actionable updates to senior leadership.
  • Regularly engage with senior marketing leaders, enterprise program leaders, and integration governance teams to drive decisions, align priorities, and communicate program status.
  • Build strong working relationships across functions and leadership levels.
  • Drive consistency in planning, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency, communication, and program execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project management resources supporting strategic marketing initiatives

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of project or program management experience
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams involving numerous stakeholders and competing priorities.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
  • PMP, PgMP, Scrum, Agile, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Wrike, or similar enterprise project management platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading complex marketing initiatives like acquisitions or digital transformation projects.
  • Experience leading multiple acquisition integration programs and enterprise transformation initiatives involving Marketing, IT, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and steering committees.
  • Strong understanding of marketing organizations, marketing operations, and cross-functional business processes.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and create structure where it does not exist.

For this role, we anticipate paying $105,000 - $160,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
