Program Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Program Manager to support a company focused on nuclear security, cybersecurity operations, engineering, and compliance for federal missions. This position is on-site at Washington, DC. The Program Manager will lead planning, scheduling, and execution across a classified IT environment while ensuring project delivery, resource alignment, and contract compliance. This role directly supports mission-critical national security efforts and plays a key part in maintaining operational readiness across multiple secure environments.

Responsibilities for the Program Manager include:

• Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 tools
• Coordinate with team leads to track progress, manage resources, and identify risks and dependencies
• Create cost estimates based on schedules and present findings to leadership
• Lead risk and requirements management boards to prioritize and execute key initiatives
• Track contract deliverables, program metrics, and budget burn rates while ensuring compliance

Required Qualifications for the Program Manager include:

• 5+ years of experience with program or project management in a federal or technical environment
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 (exposure to Linux, Splunk, Ansible, Tenable preferred)
• Strong skills in scheduling, estimating, risk management, and stakeholder communication
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience) with PMP or formal project management training
• Active Top Secret clearance (within the last 5 years) or DOE Q clearance

Compensation for the Program Manager include:

Salary Range: $180,000-200,000
