Reporting to the Director of the Core Surgical Innovations (CSI) Competitive Strategy Team, this Program Marketing Manager will play a critical role in helping secure the market share position of our $6B CSI business. Working across the market, consultant spectrum, and organization to deeply understand the competitive landscape, you will shape the direction and execution of key strategic initiatives to secure and grow our market share positions. As an architect of competitive strategy plans, you will work within and outside our organization to deeply understand the surgical portfolio landscape and how our current portfolio is positioned. Then, in concert with the global marketing organization and other cross functions, create and execute trackable marketing campaigns that effectively share and educate on the benefits of our solutions. Revenue performance, share position, and engagement are the key metrics to success.

Key Responsibilities
Competitive Insight:Develop a wholistic point of view of the market, our position in it, and future risks/opportunities by working with our strategy functions, regional marketing teams, and outside consultants.
Competitive Strategy Plan: Utilizing the competitive insights, develop a comprehensive plan to accelerate our market position in the short and long-term, by working in conjunction with the global upstream and downstream marketing teams. Measurable change in brand equity, customer perception, and share position is expected.
Integrated Marketing / Messaging Campaigns: Execute on the Competitive Strategy Plan by communicating to our target audience in the right cadence to achieve our goals. Working with the global downstream marketing team, marketing communications, regional marketing teams, commercial capabilities, and our legal team, you will lead the crafting of the right messages at the right time to be deployed to the desired audience.
Anticipated global travel is approximately 20%

Must Have (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelors Degree with at least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry/market or at least 3 with an advanced degree.
Experience creating and executing marketing collateral and/or campaigns
Nice to Have:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Marketing Communications or Marketing Research
MBA desired
Experience building financial models
Strong understanding of surgical procedures and product performance.
Proven ability to lead without authority, win mind share, and influence an organization.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and achievement of business goals.

Proficiency with a variety of personal computer software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$125,600.00 - $188,400.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
