Position Summary The Bridge Preservation Engineer serves as an entrepreneurial, forward-looking catalyst responsible for advancing bridge preservation practices while driving strategic growth for NCPP. This role focuses on expanding program impact through new ventures, funding opportunities, and portfolio of services. Working with agencies, industry, and partners, the position promotes the adoption of emerging technologies and strengthens NCPPs national presence, influence, and long-term sustainability. A proactive, business-minded approach is essential to identify opportunities, build collaborations, and grow program offerings.

Work Hours The Bridge Preservation Engineer reports to the Director of the NCPP. Level of effort will be variable from week to week, based on activities underway and needs, but will average a commitment of 20 hours per week (50% full time). The successful candidate will be required to travel and represent NCPP at relevant meetings and events (estimated 6 - 12 trips per year).
